the first garden

There was no better time to break ground with Eat the Lawn Garden #1 than during Northfield’s celebration of the 10/10/10 Global Work Party! While most of the fiesta was building a chicken coop in the backyard, a few of us peeled up the sod in the front yard to sow garlic and valiantly begin what is sure to be a beautiful perennial & food garden at 912 Winona St.
